1. SERVICES COORDINATOR
(Moab, UT)

 The Service Coordinator will set a manageable pace for the organization by coordinating thorough and timely services for Seekhaven clients. The Service Coordinator will triage new clients, identifying their safety level, immediate needs and long-term goals by performing assessments and assisting with intake paperwork. The Service Coordinator will be familiar with the strengths, boundaries and availability of each service provider, and assign which staff member will meet the needs of incoming clients. The Service Coordinator will be knowledgeable of each client’s needs and progress, and will provide timely, informed and reliable input to the advocacy staff. The Service Coordinator will also serve as the immediate contact for inquiring community members and volunteers.

2. NIGHT SHELTER MANAGER
(Moab, UT)

 Shelter Night Managers provide crisis counseling, advocacy, and life skills training for shelter clients during non-business hours. This position is scheduled for two shifts per week: one shift Tuesday, 5 pm-Wednesday, 8 am, and Wednesday, 5 pm-Thursday, 8am. While safety and advocacy services are the staff's number one priority, Shelter Night Managers are permitted to sleep on shift. The Night Shelter Manager provides crisis management, advocacy and life skills training for shelter clients outside of regular business hours. Responds to all crisis phone calls on the 24-hour hotline. Assists residents with the implementation of an action plan, safety plan and goals set by the client. Prioritizes and responds to crisis events and client needs during shift hours. Must maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality in providing a safe environment for residents.

3.VICTIM ADVOCATE
(Located in Blanding, UT)

Seekhaven's satellite victim advocate will be based out of Blanding and will provide advocacy services to victims of domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. The Victim Advocate works to foster a safe, comfortable, and healing outreach-based support system for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. The Victim Advocate will be available for and respond to crisis calls on an as needed basis. Additionally, the Victim Advocate will work closely with clients to create and manage safety plans; provide service referrals and case management services, as well as ongoing support and advocacy (legal, medical, emotional, etc.). The Victim Advocate will abide by a strict code of conduct and maintain confidentiality at all times. The Victim Advocate will also develop and maintain community relationships by providing service-based educational presentations to a variety community organizations.
This is a full time position with some nights, weekends and on-call shifts required.


PREVENTION COORDINATOR
(Moab, UT)

This position is primarily funded by the Rape Education and Prevent Grant (RPEG) and the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) grant through the Utah Department of Health. Under the RPEG grant the Prevention Coordinator will be implement “STOP SV” strategies developed by the CDC in an attempt to address sexual violence it a more upstream, community level. The current RPEG program is focused on assessing sexual assault/harassment experienced in the workplace, analyzing organization’s sexual harassment policies, and provide bystander intervention trainings or assistance in revising policies. Under the PREP grant, the Prevention Coordinator will assist Seekhaven’s other Prevention Coordinator in delivering the Making Proud Choices (MPC) curriculum to at risk youth. Additionally, the Prevention Coordinator will assist in outreach events to further community understanding of Seekhaven’s group services.
